STATUE OF LIBERTY

Part of the Human History Rescue Endeavor (HHRE) program, the Statue of Liberty (US) was uprooted from its historic location at Ellis Island and stored for decades in an undisclosed location as the Cataclysms ravaged the Earth. The Statue of Liberty would have perished if the rising sea levels that destroyed so much of the continental coastline had been allowed to swallow her in its wake. At the very least, recovery would have been rendered nearly impossible.

The Statue and other famous landmarks were transferred to a lunar storage facility in the mid-2100’s. It was unveiled as a part of the Conglomerate Historical Preservation Collection aboard CSSTAT-5 in 2340 as a memorial to the great capitalist engine that was the (albeit unknown at the time) birth of the Conglomerate.
