“Don't just work in your lab...wear it!”

Today’s cutting edge workplaces are a maze of hundreds to thousands of pieces of equipment, all feeding valuable telemetry to the researchers seeking “the next big thing.” How does one stay on top of this in real time? The average human’s peripheral vision is limited to 160 degrees, and that’s only to draw one’s attention…not to actually digest its details.

“Get away from colored light indicators and obnoxiously large screens of gibberish…
…Get SAUREAN!”

Sinovations Augmented Reality Node (SAUREAN) Goggles are the ultimate accessory for the hardcore lab rat, bringing Enforcer grade “situational awareness” to the place where discoveries saving their @$$es are made! The same technologies used in tactical eyewear of the past are integrated into a fully immersive holographic display inside a lightweight “shell” that is worn over both eyes. Live feeds from any number of sensor arrays can be displayed at once, or individually selected by eye movement, voice, or both. Advanced models go beyond merely displaying information and create on-the-fly virtual stations within the goggles. External sensors track the user’s movements and apply the input data to the actual station within the lab as if the researcher was there in person.

Users are immediately flagged of critical alerts or hazardous warnings through Virtual Retinal Display (VRD) notification(s). This SAUREAN subsystem, unlike projections on the interior of the shell unit for standard functions, projects the image directly into the eye. These alerts are distinct in that they appear to “float in air” before the user and is kept in focus regardless of where they move their eye. Physically closing the eye can eliminate the VRD warnings, but will trigger audible alarms and, where programmed to do so, trigger the facility’s warning systems as well.
